The worship committee is charged with assisting the pastor with worship services. The responsibilities are recruiting and scheduling ushers, liturgists, acolytes, communion servers, and children’s sermon volunteers; preparing communion; changing liturgical paraments and adorning the sanctuary to reflect the church calendar, sermon topics, and seasons.
